Come See Boston's Finest!
The Boston Nature Center is an urban sanctuary, located on the grounds of the former Boston State Hospital, offering public programs year-round. Two miles of trails and boardwalks traverse meadows and wetlands where wildlife abounds, including coyotes, pheasants, and many species of birds.
The sanctuary's George Robert White Environmental Conservation Center is one of the "greenest" buildings in Boston. Open Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., weekends and holidays, 10:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. This is a great hiking spot in Massachusetts!
